What is the return policy?

Storage Parts Direct allows customer returns based on the policies of the original product manufacturer. Software is not returnable if the packaging has been opened. If software was distributed electronically, it is not returnable if the licenses were downloaded.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund and/or we'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). Refunds are issued to the original method of payment.

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Customers must notify Storage Parts Direct Customer Support of any damaged Products within fifteen (15) days of delivery receipt.

Rules and Restrictions

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of product purchase.
  • Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • You must include the order information. Be certain to save copies for your records.
  • Shipping and handling costs and other additional charges are non-refundable.
  • We will not accept CODs or third party billing for returned merchandise.
  • If there is extensive damage to an item upon delivery, call a Customer Service Representative immediately at (800) 854-9146 or via return request form
  • Returns must be received within 10 days of return authorization.

You can expect a refund within 3-5 days of our receiving your returned product.

If you do not contact Customer Service for return authorization, Storage Parts Direct cannot guarantee credit or replacement of returned merchandise.

Damaged or Defective Items

Each item is inspected prior to shipment. If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact a Customer Service Representative immediately at (800) 854-9146 or via return request form. Please supply the Representative with your order number, item number and tracking number from your original confirmation e-mail. The Representative will also need your e-mail address and phone number.

Storage Parts Direct will make every reasonable effort to assist you with your return. Items returned as defective that are deemed in working condition may not qualify for a refund.

A defective item may be repaired or replaced within 30 days of purchase under Storage Parts Direct Warranty Policy or within the manufacturer's warranty period, if warranty applies.
